Tip

Today is Friday and the sun is out. Everyone seems to be in a good mood and getting excited for summer.

I go to Subway to pick up a sandwich for lunch about 3 or 4 days a week. The other day as I was walking out, one of the workers was leaving for the day and his co-worker asked, "Did you get your tips?"

He replied, "Yes I did, it was $2.50!" He was a young boy, not more than 17 years old I'd guess. So, maybe an extra $2.50 was a lot to him because he sounded like he had just received $50 or more. I'm not sure, but I left saying to myself "Next time I buy a sandwich here I'm going to tip them."

So today I had the chance to do just that. And I think I'm going to continue to tip them each time I visit. Who knows, maybe the next patron in line will do the same and pretty soon the same boy will walk away with $50 one day!
