National Children's Cancer Society

It's Memorial Day today and I finally took the time to go through the pile of mail that had been stacking up for the past couple weeks! Why do we let it turn into such a task? And I just realized that I haven't retrieved the mail since Thursday so I'm still not done with it! Oh well.

I was given a challenge this morning by my boyfriend D. He is challenging me to do nothing today, except relax. I think I'm doing quite well, actually. Although it's taking a lot of strength to refrain from doing laundry. That sounds weird, doesn't it? But, it's true. I don't like to sit still so I think I'll go for a walk soon.

Anyway, back to the mail. There was a letter from the National Children's Cancer Society along with a pretty calendar. They were asking for a donation, which I couldn't resist. So I have a check ready to mail off today. And that gives me an opportunity to pick up that mail that's been there since Thursday. I'll try to relax while I go through it :)
