Today is my brother D's 27th birthday! I feel as if he should be celebrating his 17th birthday instead, but somehow time has gone by so fast and I realize we are all older than we used to be. "Duh" you are probably saying right about now!
Anyway, I had a lot of fun shopping around this morning trying to find just the right gift for him. I wanted to buy him a shirt that he could wear to work, but then I thought that was kind of boring. So I started looking at the cuff links and ties, which led me to the scarves. There I found a gorgeous grey, plaid wool scarf and instantly picked it up. It looked very handsome, felt extra soft (sometimes wool can be scratchy) and I think he'll like it.
They wrapped it right there in the store and next I went to another shop to pick out a card. I hope he likes the scarf has a few chances to wear it during this cold winter.
